Ugh, I don't know. I was pretty disappointed with this book. I really liked [b:Slammed|13372690|Slammed (Slammed, #1)|Colleen Hoover|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1328530463s/13372690.jpg|18602144] - I felt that all of the characters was fresh, unique, and lovable. Will was just the ultimate book boyfriend, Lake was funny, sensitive, and cute, and even the little brothers were adorable. But in [b:Point of Retreat|13496084|Point of Retreat (Slammed, #2)|Colleen Hoover|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1330543249s/13496084.jpg|19038910], a lot of that was lost. Every single character was annoying. Lake was immature and whiny, the little girl neighbour was just weird, and even the brothers were too good to be true. And, I hate to say it, because I was border line crushing on him in [b:Slammed|13372690|Slammed (Slammed, #1)|Colleen Hoover|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1328530463s/13372690.jpg|18602144], but he was a real cry baby pansy ass! I know he had some major "stuff" to deal with, but still, by the end of the book, I just didn't care. I wanted it to be over! And in a character-driven novel, when a reader doesn't care about the characters anymore, it's the kiss of death! Now, I realize Colleen Hoover has written a follow-up novel from Will's POV, but I honestly don't think I can stomach it. I would still like to try [b:Hopeless|15717943|Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)|Colleen Hoover|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1353489892s/15717943.jpg|21389085], and hope that the author is able to capture my angst for her characters once again.

This book wasn't good for my heart. Seriously. It stopped a couple of times and I was a sobbing mess through out the book.
I butterflying love Kiersten. (See what I did there? Huh? :P)
And I really hate Vaughn.

The slams were awesome. Seriously! Will's slam for Lake and the slams from Kiersten and Caulder were the best! Nothing buth love for the characters. They were just as awesome as in the first book and I'm glad I met Kiersten in this book. She's really amazing! The storyline was heartbreaking good.
I loved the fact that it was from Will's POV. And I loved the fact that Lake's mom still was so present in this book.

Colleen Hoover, you must write more books. I cannot live without them anymore!

Sometimes two people have to fall apart, to realize how much they need to fall back together.

Too cringey and immature- I'm definitely too old for this book.

So glad that there was a sequel to Slammed because I just wanted more! It was interesting and cool to have Will's perspective for a change. The only thing I didn't like about this book was that I really wanted for Will and Lake to get through their challenges together since they were apart in the last book, but Lake was upset almost half the book for practically nothing which kept them apart. However, the new characters more than make up for it. I love how much all the characters felt like a family which is why this book still got five stars.
