This series continues to surprise me in really positive ways. I love the characters in the slammed series including the newcomers Kiersten and Sherry. So unique and very likable. And while I initially cringed thinking this story was going to be about one thing, it ended up going in a much better direction.

I didn't like this one as much as Slammed, it read more like fanfiction. But I just love Layken and Will too much to let them go.

There is absolut nothing good to be said about this book.

This is just a combination of purity culture, misogyny and toxic behaviour (i.e. manipulation, sexual harassment,...).

Whoever thinks this is what a healthy relationship looks like and/or that Will is a great partner needs a reality check.

As for the "plot": nothing happened in this book beside a rushed wedding in the very last chapter, which basically just happened so that Layken won't lose her virginity out of wedlock (of course Will already had sex with with his ex-girlfriend, something that has to be brought up everytime her name is mentioned).

This was an absolute waste of time. 0.5☆ only in case I need to rate the last installment of the triology even lower.

This was the perfect second book in the series and I love will and Layken. I still can’t believe this was Colleen Hoover’s first series because it’s amazing. It’s perfect for a read in one sitting.
