I loved Will and Lakes relationship. I loved that these two young adults were adapting to something so huge in a mature way. I loved the stupid
little stars. I loved every piece of poetry shared. I loved the ending. I loved their suck and sweets. I really loved the last slam Will did. I loved the talent show slams as well. I LOVE that kirsten chick. and I loved Will's journal entry's.
This was just another great attachment to the trilogy. What makes it Evan better is that is was in Wills pov.
I believe this book breaks my record for tears shed over a book. I could not hold them in after Wills last slam that one night. I just KNEW something like that would happen. I just kept thinking how very cruel it would be if things didn't work out. I'm am very, very great full how it did work out though.
This book did not disappoint. It has just as much meaning as the first.

Beroepsmatig gelezen en dat was een uitkomst, want ik was al een tijdje nieuwsgierig naar wie toch die vrouw is die al haar boeken in de hitlijsten weet te krijgen en te houden. En ik moet zeggen, ik snap het. Het is geen boek dat ik zelf zou uitkiezen, daarvoor is het allemaal te zoetsappig, te liefjes, te simpel. Ook staat het nou niet bepaald bol van de mooie zinnen of taalvondsten. Maar het is wel een rond verhaal, "het leest makkelijk weg" en de personages hebben allemaal een goed uitgedachte en aangename persoonlijkheid. Het is gewoon een heel leuk boek voor mensen die helemaal geen zin hebben om af en toe te worstelen tijdens het lezen.
