It was also good. They always are. But I felt like this one was taking forever to get to the point. Of retreat. Ha! But seriously - Hoover’s stories never drag, but I felt like this one did just a bit. I still dug it. And I’m still gonna read the next in the series. But it was just a bit less compelling.
