Im never one to like insta-love but I can't deny that Sara Cate did it extremely well. It didn't feel rushed or forced. Overall, this was a really cute and quick Christmas read.

This was a cute, taboo, insta-love. It’s an age-gap story between a 19 year old and her 40ish step-step-uncle. It’s not really that taboo. I find the blurbs often oversell the forbidden nature of these relationships as the author inevitably backs off one way or another. In this one he’s her mother’s new husband’s step-brother, so there is barely a connection. She’s just met him so he hasn’t known her since she was a child, only he’s 20 years older than her.

As I expected, this was a great book by Sara! I loved reading this age gap taboo book immensely.

Cute, fun novella. The whole forbidden thing didn’t bother me at all and didn’t really feel all that forbidden. I loved the two MCs and felt like they were great together.
