Holy freaking cow. This book. *sigh* This book was phenomenal. I have ALWAYS loved King the most out of the heroes in this series. He was my first Giana book and there’s just something about him that I love. But my number one hero spot was taken by freaking Priest! Priest is everything I wanted in a hard hearted, no feeling, obsessive, psychopath. Like, I’m drawn to a bad boy. And he is bad bad. He literally has such a dirty mouth. It’s one of my favorite parts about him. Lol. Bea surprised me. For real. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about her because I freaking love Lou but I think I love her more than LouLou! Bea had an interest in serial killers and psychopaths and murder so it was obvious why she had an interest in Priest. I absolutely love that she continued in her faith and her belief in God even after the things that happened with her father. And even after becoming family with The Fallen. I love that she didn’t give that up like her sister did. It makes me see how strong she is in her belief even when she’s around so much corruption. Priest and Bea together.. explosive. The tension is high between them. In a great way, of course. They are definitely my new favorite couple because the way they just get each other is so inspiring! Bea gets Priest in a way that I don’t think he thought would happen. She’s pushy where she needs to be and she knows when to give him space. He’s obsessive, in a good way, and he’s crazy protective of his girl. I just can’t stop thinking about them. Also, I won’t spoil the story, obviously, but HOLY COW the drama in this book is gooooood. Obviously there’s a bad guy and the whole situation blew. My. Mind. Legit. Couldn’t believe what happened. Such a freaking good antagonistic storyline. I ALMOST wish it had been longer so I could read more about it. Giana obviously did her work in researching psychopaths and the antagonistic storyline of this book because she nailed it, in my opinion. I am already ready for a reread. I can’t get enough of this couple! 10/10 would recommend this book! Giana, you killed it! Thanks for continuing to write this amazing series!

Kills me to do this, but I’ve had to put this book down at 48% as DNF. The whole getting off on blood thing isn’t a thing for me and the scene in the disabled toilet was just not for me. Saying that I’ve enjoyed the series so far and would certainly read another book in this series.

Man, this book was FUCKED up.

I looooved it!!

Dead Man Walking features Priest McKenna, The Fallen MC’s enforcer and Bea Lafayette. If you’ve been keeping up you’ll remember her as LouLou’s baby sister.
Well, she’s all grown up now (almost 20) but is still the sweet sunshine girly girl with a love of all things fluffy and pink and although she is going through her own semi crisis of faith, she still religiously attends church service at First Light where her beloved Grandpa preaches.

But there’s another side to sweet, Bea. She has a love for all things dark, painful and dangerous. It’s no wonder she’s been in love with Priest for years.

Priest is originally from Ireland and escaped as a wee lad on a freight ship to Canada. There, Z took him under his wing. Despite his name, Priest is an atheist. After years of abuse by a priest he can only feel and get excited through pain - giving and receiving. He’s surprised that sweet Bea (who he’s had his own obsession for since she was 17) has a taste for the dark side and they cannot get enough of each other.

But someone in Entrance is killing women, and when the killings affect the biker ladies and directly involve Bea, Priest will stop at nothing to protect her.

Phew! What a hot and gripping book. My partner is from Ireland and I may have asked him to speak in Gaelic to me a few times lol.
Priest was fucked up, but not unredeemable. I loved how he started to slowly open up to Bea and shed his self protective mode - but still retained himself. Bea was sweet, but I loved her dark side and her podcast would be something I would tune into. She had an awesome mix of darkness and light. Sooo looking forward to Giana Darling’s next book in this series!

Priest and Bea, when opposites attract!

Priest is our darkest hero so far due to his past, which we don't find out about until the back end of the book.

I love him and Bea together ❤️

This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster once again!!
