Although I am not a parent nor soon to be one, I really enjoyed reading this book. Its part memoir, part how to, and its full of amazing stories. I love the TODOs at the end of each chapter as well as the resources at the end.

This one isn’t just for parents! I really enjoyed this memoir and guide to raising a son while keeping feminism in mind. Not only did it cover basic feminism ideas, it expands into Jha’s experience of being an Indian woman living in the US with her son. It was a great read and I felt there was a lot to unpack in each chapter (hence why I took my time!) to absorb her thoughts, feelings, and each “task” given at the end of every chapter. I look forward to picking this book up later when my son is a little older to remind me of what I can do better.

This book helped me reflect my goals as a mother and find ways to reach them easier. As well as giving different views points and perspectives I didn't think of.
If you are the parent, or adult of a boy or son in your life please read this book
