I had to restart this book 4 times because the beginning was so confusing, but now I’m desperate to read it again.

Until storygraph fixes the scale of star ratings, I'm giving this OVER FIVE STARS because the audiobook is just so good, Moira Quirk is amazing, and the re-read is so satisfying.

If Gideon the Ninth is "And Then There Were None" with lesbian necromancers, Harrow the Ninth adds in a healthy scoop of Assassins Creed to that mix. Prepare to be lost, deliberately and skillfully. The ride is worth it.

With an unreliable narrator this wasn't as quick of a read as Gideon the Ninth, but the story remains interesting and the writing style fun to read.
