Lord have mercy…this book started off with a bang. Literally. Easy read for sure, however, the intern/boss trope makes me feel uneasy & overall seems unrealistic to me and my lifestyle. Will I read the others in the series? Most likely, yes.

Wow... where to start with this review. I LOVED this book! I rarely give a book five stars, but I just have to with Beautiful Bastard. I love a book that the characters slowly fall in love. I love to feel their every emotion as they discover their true feelings. I also love a book that is full of hotness and makes my blood boil. I very much enjoyed the banter back and forth and there were a lot of places that had me laughing. There were tender moments, frustrating moments, have to fan myself moments, teary moments, witty moments, and loving moments. I went through so many emotions reading this book. At first I was all MMMMMM

"The look in her eyes told me that under any other circumstances, I would either already be naked with her on top of me, or lying in a pool of my own blood on the rug."
"You know, if you would shut up once in a while you'd be d*mn near perfect." "But I'd be a silent panty ripper, which I think is a lot creepier than the angry-boss panty ripper."

Reread March 24, 2014... This book is still one of my all time favorites!

This book really has no plot or point but it will make you laugh whether you're suppose to or not. It was ridiculous and I often found myself going "Really?" at the characters but it does offer entertainment. Will I be reading the next installment in the series? Yes. I will just have to read it with a grain of salt. This isn't award winning literature. It's strictly here to entertain you for the couple hours it takes to read.

This book took me roughly 4 hours to finish, it was not put down once.
Hey, Bennett, how about letting me in to your bedroom instead?

Boardrooms, elevators, and the sacrifice of many a panty.
I approached this book with an open mind, and it was one of those things where.. I was out of books [I wanted] to read, I kept seeing this book in various feeds, and I figured why not? I kind of just trudged through it. I skimmed a lot of the sex scenes, and the whole Twilight/50SOG fanfic genre is just getting old for me. It's so done it's in overkill now.
There were some aspects of the story that piqued my interest, but all-in-all, it wound up being one of those rare occasions that I didn't immediately track down the sequel. It's been several months now, and I don't remember there being any issue with the writing itself, in retrospect, but I just found the storyline to be a bit tired. I don't think I even remember the plot aside from the new standard of (brooding, business executive/billionaire) guy and (young, financially vulnerable, student/entry level employee) girl hate each other but have an intense want for one another, lots of hate-sex, arbitrary hurdles to their "romance," and an ever building want/need despite the weak issues holding them back... yeah.
I'm not interested in rehashing a successful series in hopes of milking it for all it's worth. Aside from that, it wasn't a *bad* read, it just didn't particularly stand out among the others.
