It needs more than what it was giving and I'm giving it a 3.5 story wise but the ending and the banter made it a 4. However that was enough looking back so I stand by 2
h: Chloe Mills
H: Bennett Ryan aka Beautiful Bastard
(Dual POVs)
When we meet Chloe and Bennett, Chloe has been working as Bennett's assistant for approximately a year. She was working under Bennett's father, until Bennett returned home from working overseas. There is a lot of tension between the two, not so much sexual tension at first, more like two hard headed, stubborn people constantly clashing. Until one night, they're alone, after hours, in the conference room. One touch ignites the sexual tension between the two and the more times they indulge in each other, the hotter the lust burns for one another. Chloe is afraid of ruining her reputation and everything she has worked so hard for. Bennett is described as a manwhore, hasn't had too many serious relationships, and knows it's wrong to be fraternizing at his family's company.
When it comes to lust, this book moves at a pretty fast pace. When it comes to love, this book is a slow burn. A veryyy slow burn. There is a lot of back and forth between going at it in the conference room, hating each other, going at it in the stairwell, hating each other, going at it in a dressing room, hating each other, etc. BUT. If you can be patient through the push and pull, I assure you, it is worth it! I loved seeing Bennett soften around the edges as his feelings for Chloe grew more than just a fling. His dirty mouth never softened

Needed more substance.

Chloe and Bennett’s relationship is basically a lot of sex, and a lot of arguing and hating on each other. She thinks he’s a beautiful bastard, he thinks she’s a beautiful bitch. Everyone else? Thinks they’re exactly the same. Neither likes being told what to do, and both like to push each other to the limits.
As her boss, he’s constantly pushing her to work her hardest, which she takes as him being a prick because he’s cold towards her from day dot. Due to dual POV’s, we see Bennett is this way from the beginning because the moment he saw her picture, he was infatuated with her, and the moment he returned to the country and was told he’d have her as an intern, he knew it wouldn’t go well. When he first see’s her in person, she’s quoting Clerks 2, and he's becomes more attracted. So what does a man do in that situation? Acts like a prick to push her away.
At the start, I constantly thought Bennett’s thoughts in his POV made him seem like a dick. He’s constantly thinking she wears certain clothes from the start of her internship just to taunt him, when really, her friend gives her clothes and she wears them. Once he falls for her however, and once we see him at home with his niece, we see he’s not a complete twat.
While it’s quite creepy, I find his need to rip her underwear off and keep them quite funny! This is easy to read, steamy, fun, and most of all realistic read.
Also, I'm super bummed with myself that I didn't find a copy of this when it first came out even though I always saw it and just never bothered to get a copy to read!

Loved the spice factor of this book, but the plot felt barely there and the book wrapped up way too quickly.
I know it's my fault, but I've read this series in the most weird order ever. Still a good read though.

I found this book really funny, even when i knew it wasn't suppose to be. It was a bit crass but by the end i felt an attachment to the characters.
