I found this book really funny, even when i knew it wasn't suppose to be. It was a bit crass but by the end i felt an attachment to the characters.

I am so surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I was completely wrapped up in Chloe and Bennett's story. I was hooked from the first page!

3.75 stars! It was good and very sexy! But I felt as if there was a little too much time focused on the sex and bit the character development. The back and forth between Chloe and Bennett got a little aggravating too. All in all though I liked it.

I’m sorry, but them doing it in almost every single chapter was annoying. The smut is written well, but I wish they would’ve spent more time developing a relationship instead of doing it anywhere and everywhere

4 What a Bastard Stars!

This book was funny and it was hot! Mr. Bennett Ryan, you are definitely one Beautiful Bastard.

"If only he would keep his mouth shut, he'd be perfect. A piece of duct tape would do the trick. I had some in my desk that I'd occasionally pull out and fondle, hoping someday I could put it to good use."

Chloe Mills is an intern, working for Mr. Ryan at his family's marketing company. She is getting her MBA so she needs to finish out her internship there to graduate. And if she wants to graduate, she has to put up with her prick of a boss who has never said a kind word to her since his first day back 9 months ago.

For Bennett, he has always been attracted to Miss Mills, and it truly pisses him off. But, she does give as good as she gets and that just turns him on even more.

It occurred to me that it might not be in my best interest to let her make my coffee. One of these days she was likely to put something in it. Like arsenic.

Their relationship definitely toes the line between love and hate, but for them, their arguing and fighting is foreplay.

"For some sick reason, fighting with this woman always ended with her panties in my pocket."

BTW, I counted 10 pairs of panties that he destroyed, and every time was very hot!!

Watch the explosions that occur between these two as they try and find the balance between their love and hate.

This was a long book, but a quick read. Chloe and Bennett have a great story. It's not as 50 shades as the title would have you believe, which is a good thing.

I'm usually turned off by excessive sex scenes in a book. I mean come on, at some point, we get it. However, in this instance, because of who the characters are and how they meet and get together, the scenes work. I'd say a couple could still be removed and the book would be just fine, but it wasn't overly annoying.

I wasn't aware that this book started out as Twilight fan fiction until I was a good ways into the book, when the names of some characters gave it away. Outside of the names, it's really not that similar. No vampires here.

Loved this book. Perfect amount of steamy and swoony. Already starting in the next one.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about this series, and I must say that Beautiful Bastard (book 1) is a highly entertaining read. It’s also one very, very dirty book.

The authors take the tried and true enemies to lovers/office romance trope to the next level. Chloe is an intern at a multi-million dollar company, and Bennett is her boss. To say they aren’t fond of each other is the understatement of the year. Chloe openly detests Bennett, reminding him frequently what an a$$h*le he is. He treats her with condescending disdain.

Their fiery bickering is amusing, but arguing always leads to frantic fu–uun. Remember what I said about this being a dirty book? These two turn combustible quickies into an art form, sneaking sex in every location and on every surface imaginable. Bennett is one naughty man, which typically rings my bells, so it feels odd to say that there is almost too much sex in this book.

Bennett is a fantastic douche nozzle, and I mean that in a good way. I loved to hate him and then I hated that I loved him. I treasured Chloe’s sharp mind and professional competence, not to mention her enviable wardrobe. The two of them are well matched and magnetic.

I listened to the audio book and was very impressed by Grace Grant’s fluid narration.

I don’t know if the other books in the series are interconnected, but I’m certainly interested in reading more.
