I've said it before and I'll say it again: sometimes you just need a little bit of trash. I think I burned myself out a little bit with Fantasy February so I'm trying to just take it easy this month and just read shorter books, more graphic novels, and indulge in a little bit of smutty fun when I'm having a rough day at work. It definitely makes my work day more interesting if my cheeks are on fire and so red they match my hair, which is the same color as a fire engine.
I really don't have much to say about this other than the fact that it was maybe a mistake to listen to it at work. Grace Grant was in top form as narrator, and, even though she was unfortunately tasked with reading both Chloe's AND Bennett's chapters, she did a great job, even though it kind of made me start giggling like a twelve year old whenever I heard her voice referring to his dick in the first person. Not her fault, of course, just hilarious and weird. Would it have been that difficult to find a dude to read his chapters?
This wasn't anything close to being special, nowhere near as good, well-written, or meaningful as Christina and Lauren's other book, Autoboyography, but it was a good time waster and it certainly didn't ask much from me as a reader, which was nice. I just kind of switched my brain off and enjoyed my time and, after reading over forty books so far in 2018, it was nice to have a book that gave me a bit of a break.

I read this because several booktubers I follow mentioned it as their favorite Christina Lauren book. I have to wonder how recently they read it and if they would still feel the same after a re-read.
If you’re looking for a super-steamy book with a lot of hot sex, this is for you. If you’re looking for a super-steamy book with a relationship you can really get invested in, it’s not. The plot is thin and really just a rickety scaffolding for all the spice, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, so long as that’s what you’re in the mood for. If you’re looking for a meaty story with well developed characters, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for candy, you should dive right in and enjoy.
Meh, if I had started with this I probably wouldn't have read their more recent works. It was a bit basic, cringey dialogue as well

I listened to the audiobook.
This one was WILD. It started out with such a weird automatic hook up and it really kind of lost me after that. But it still ended up being a pretty entertaining listen.

This was just a smutty book with minimal plot line. Different than the rest of Christina Lauren bibliography (kinda?).
fast-paced
I don’t even want to rate this book and I wish I’d read reviews because WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. Straight up DNF 15% in for me.
Okay so apparently, this is Twilight fanfic. Dear sweet reader who has just come to Goodreads from the first 20% of this book, confused that online there is no mention of the characters all having Twilight themed names, I’ll clarify for you: ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ARE FROM TWILIGHT IT IS LITERALLY FANFIC BASED ON THE FRANCHISE.
That confused me, but the smut was good I won’t lie, for the first 15% I actually read. No plot line, tons of clichés and repetition of phrases. I cannot read a book like this. I can’t. Don’t even TALK to me about book 2 because I’ve downloaded that and I’m terrified that it’s going to be iCarly smut or some shit… stay tuned for that ig.

I enjoyed this book, but the spice wasn’t spicy for me even though there was sex in every chapter! I really liked the enemies to lovers office romance trope! I actually cried towards the end. Not giving any spoilers but it did make me emotional. I loved the banter between the MCs. It was a relatable feelings throughout the book. I do want to continue with the series!
I forgot how much I liked these characters. I liked how much of a bastard Bennet was and I like how much Chloe didn’t let him get away with it. She never backed doesn’t from him or if she did she made him think twice. (evil laugh)
Their attraction to each other was off the charts they couldn’t get enough. Once the seal was broken it was broken.
But you could see it was more for both of them I loved it.
I also really liked that Chloe was a part of the Bennet family too.
The narration was good but a little meh, the first time I read this book I loved the narration I guess going back you notice things you didn’t before.
