The best book I have read in years. I read it after seeing the movie trailer, but now I don't want to see the movie because it cannot possibly live up.

While I enjoyed the majority of this book, and adored the way it was formatted as a series of epistolary pieces all connected through space and time, there were a few viewpoints that I didn't care for and it felt like a slog to get through those segments.

I am still formulating a worthy review for this book, but here's the one-word review: LOVE.

updating my rating to 5 stars because i haven’t been able to stop thinking about this book since i finished it and maybe that’s the point of reading

My interest was peaked by a novel that showcases an ambitious narrative structure, weaving multiple stories across time periods. However, the writing style can be seen as tedious at times and the link between the stories feels extremely tenuous, albeit I didn't make it past the half-way point.
