After thinking Every Summer After was just okay, this was such an unexpected surprise! Honestly, almost everything worked for me and the Prince Edward Island/Anne Shirley/Green Gables references were a mo effing DELIGHT that made my heart 🥰🥰🥰. My only real complaint is that the whole situation…was kind of wildly unnecessary? Like, just have a conversation with your best friend and be done with it. 🤔 And someone get Lucy a big gulp because girl was THIRSTY this whole book and needed to chill. 😂 Loved Felix! Loved the flashbacks and how they worked up to present day. Was a bit surprised with the ending and thought it took a fresh meandering path to get to the HEA. Honestly, I just fully vibed with this one and it made my heart happy! ☺️☺️
