This was a cute story and i enjoyed the characters. This is definitely a book that’ll make you want to eat. There’s lots of cooking and talk about food. Which i liked! I liked the dynamic with the sisters. I would have liked more development tho. I wish i had felt more of a connection to the romance.. The ending kind of threw me on the romance but it was still good. It kind of seemed like a lot was rushed through.
Also a minor complaint, I didn’t really love how it constantly said.. he said. She said. My dad said. It was too frequent.

It's so nice to read a smart, funny and sassy (sort of) rom-com. I loved the premise and characters. A fun read.
3 1/2 ⭐️ Fun, quick read. The beginning of the book had great potential, but then the book got very busy and clunky. It didn’t know if it wanted to be a mystery, romance or a comedy.
Ironic that “deliciously entertaining” borders the front of this book because it had literally no plot line. I had no interest.
