It started off strong. Jane is under house arrest after being arrested for indecent exposure for having sex on her apt roof. But they it meanders into her fascination with the woman who did it and that story was just strange. Her new friends in the building one of whom is also strange. A romance that is not romantic at all.
It was a quick read though. But a bit to fluffy for me.

Meh - it was cute but not as fun as I thought it would be. Jane could get a little annoying and the whole subplot with Amanda was stupid.
Cute and entertaining! It maybe felt a little scattered and/or rushed but enjoyed it very much.
I enjoyed this novel, but there are serious problems. An attorney with a suspended license is not legally authorized to give advice. Also, an attorney cannot give advice in area where she has no experience.
This was such a strange book, really all over the place. Was it a romance, a mystery, a comedy, a sibling rivalry family story - all of the above? I couldn't tell which areas to get invested in as they didn't all stick. The romance was the weirdest part in that it never actually felt like a romance but had a . Yet, parts of it were cute, clever, and endearing. I did read much of it wondering what the heck was going on, though, so not sure I can recommend it.

HEA
This was a departure from my regular which I found refreshing and fun.
Jane is on house arrest in her New York apartment (glamourous 2 bedroom suite!) for a 6-month sentence. She harbours a lot of anger for the nosy neighbour who put her in this mess. Her twin sister encourages her to fill her days with new endevours but Jane really just wants connection. There's nothing like being un-busy to realise how alone she is.
Enter fellow-convict Perry - also on house arrest in the same building. The magic ignites. Time passes and shenanigans take place.

There wasn’t really a plot, as much as telling of events that were happening? Loved the dialogue and kept waiting for some sort of story.
Fun read. Haven’t thought much about it since I finished it.
