I didn’t like the main character, there were a lot of off hand comments that made me uncomfortable, and I feel like there was zero chemistry between the two characters.
bought this book a couple years ago, just read it now to finish it to be completely honest. this book made me realize i prefer books with more of a plot - like fantasy, mystery, thrillers. this book lacked character and story development, everything was dragged on for no reason and the ending was also super sudden???
Just perfect. A fun, not too serious and not too silly story with likeable characters, even the not so likeable ones. Some contemporary fiction can lean way too sweet or way too cheeky with dialogue that is unbelievable. This is not that. I’d like to read more by this author!
