Fast paced, a bit raunchy and very funny. Friendly, page-turning narrative style. My main complaint: I wish the FitzRoy issue had been wrapped up cleanly. It felt like there was more to discover there. Overall, way to make a romance-avoider enjoy a romance novel this much!

I loved the beginning of this and was giggling to myself for the first quarter. But I kept waiting for her to have another run-in with the legal system due to several incidents later in the book. But it never happens! It felt like the writer set it up but then dropped the thread. That felt odd for what is an established author.
