I’m a big James Patterson fan but at times his collaborative works have fallen flat with me. Here however its anything but. Readers are given a few different storylines and personas to follow along with knowing they will intercept. There is some mystery, drama, romance (maybe), sex, violence, and it all meshed together well. Patterson makes the killer an interesting character that you actually start to like if you can look past the pesky murder thing. Overall, this was a really fun read. I was pleasantly surprised.
What can I say? James Patterson has put enough ink on paper to make me turn a page here and there. I didn’t care about anyone in this story, the plot was boring, I don’t even think I can name the main characters. In the end, it provided something to do while I am on the treadmill. At least it was easy enough to finish 1.5/2
Couldn’t put it down. As usual, James Patterson pulls me right in! Well written
This book was so fun and enjoyable. A great adventure
I read this book as a complement to the masterclass.com course I'm taking with James Patterson. I wanted to see how it differed from the outline he put in the workbook. All the page-turny things from the outline are still there, coupled with more twists likely thrown in during the writing process.
This is the first time I've ever read a book and thought, "Ah, okay, this how one goes about industrialising the act of writing fiction in one's life." That isn't a bad thing—but I can see how tightly or loosely Patterson cleaves to his outline, where he thought to elaborate and where he left it to the reader, and how efficiently he moves us from page to page. I liked this.

Great quick read. Loved all the wee twists as your read through. Written rather loosely I think, which is why many probably wouldn't like it. But despite others reviews it was a great easy read to start my year off with. Could have done with out the sex scenes to be honest. Wasn't needed to tell the story.
Patterson does it again, so many twists and turns! Love how the bad guy is actually a girl!
