This was okay, not my favorite of his books. I found him writing the female character not believable at all.

I think had I read this book rather than listened to it on Audio CD, I may have liked it better. The narrators were overly dramatic and some of the parts get somewhat naked (which always makes me squirm).
Trying to do a souther accent or a Boston accent is no good if you're not from there or not trained to do that. It wasn't pleasant to listen to.
There were a couple of good twists but more could have been done with the story (particularly about the mother - Olivia).
Not a top Patterson in my book.

I should know better than to think a James Patterson book will be schmaltzy. Loads of fun, thrilling and a little sexy.
I haven’t read a James Patterson book in a hot minute. I read a TON of him when I was in high school and then just kinda stopped reading after I had Chase and got busy doing mom things. This was a fun, nostalgic trip back to my high school days and it reminded me of why I liked Patterson so much. His stories aren’t literary masterpieces, but they are so damn fun to read. This story is about a female serial killer and the FBI agent on her trail. Very cat and mouse, pretty sexy, and the ending was satisfying. Can’t ask for much more from a book.

Ahhh, another book out of my house. Yay. This one was typically fast-paced and the characters were not as annoying as in some of Patterson (et al.)'s books.
