Honestly still kinda confused how to rate this book.. But I liked it! Not much to add on my second readalong but I enjoyed it still. Though Rick's books seem to be losing their shine particularly in the Greko-Roman world.

This book wasn’t as great as The Hidden Oracle. Not hating on this book on anything, but I felt like this book was a transition book in this series. I liked it but I didn’t love it. You know how everyone loved Leo in the Heroes of Olympus? I can’t find that feeling in this book - though I’ve grown to like Calypso and Apollo a lot more.The Greek Myths in this book was again top form and Rick was creative in using the Greek Myths as always. I don’t know if this is usual but I am feeling that the voice of Apollo can get quite nonsensical and trying to be funny for the sake of being funny. Other than that I liked where the story was going and all the character growth.

Finish the Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus.

This Waystation is quite an interesting concept.
Woah, that escape from the zoo was awesome. I really need some explanation as to when Calypso and Apollo have their godly powers.
Omg Meg singing just to get Apollo out of the river was so great.
Woah Apollo managed to turn into his godly form for a little minute? That was great though?
That Shakespearean prophecy though

I love Calypso so so much, she's such a funny person to be around and she's so resourceful despite being quite outdated. I remember not loving her in the first 2 series, it was definitely nice to finally love her.This Waystation is quite an interesting concept.

maybe it was the burnout that i didn't vibe with this one as much but i hear the rest of the series is insane so i'm excited
Getting through this was really difficult for me. While it’s objectively a great fantasy book, it lacked all the magic that made Percy feel so special, at least to me. I know I probably went into this series with too high of expectations and so of course I was disappointed. The last few chapters - the mention of Grover and the Labyrinth - almost made me want to carry on with this series, but ultimately, I just don’t care about the characters enough to put myself through this again, at least for the time being.

Me gusta mucho Apolo, siento que cada vez aprende un poco sobre ser un mortal, los sentimientos que conlleva ser un mortal y como debes amar a pesar de todo.
Además amo a Leo y a Calipso con todas mis fuerzas, son mi pareja favorita de toda la saga.
En este libro ya no salió mi amor (Nico) pero logré saber un poco de Thalia y eso me encanta, amo a la hija de Zeus.
Además presiento que pronto sabre de Jason.
