Finally getting back into reading and it FEELS SO GOOD also Rick Riordan is a pure bean and we need to protect him at all costs

The best part of this book was the talking arrow.

I don't know, this book didn't really do it for me. Maybe I've just reached my rick riordan limit for a 23 year old but it's no longer grabbing me. I'll definitely finish the series, we'll see if it picks up.

I have to say, this book might have been better than the first. I loved Apollo's development, I felt like it was a lot more sincere and there were definitely quite a few moments that pulled on my heartstrings.

As always, the interconnecting plot threads are also what I love about Riordan's writing. Even the smallest character or detail will have importance later. And the end of this book? It promises a pretty awesome-sounding sequel.

Riordan does it again! I'm finding Apollo a much more likable character now. He's a lot more redeemable as he admits to his faults and failings and as he becomes more fond of the demigods and humans he is with. Of course this book just leads to the next one, but it's chock-full of the usual Riordan wit and adventure. My 11-year-old laughed throughout, and has read it probably 3 times in the few weeks since receiving it for his birthday. Can't wait for the next one!

I don't really know how he does it, but Rick Riordan never fails to make me laugh out loud and growing to love his characters! Already can't wait for the next one!:)

I liked this book far better than the last one. I´m enjoying all the new characters that Rick is introducing us. I love how feral Meg can be, how gay Apollo is, how endearing Josie and Emmie are...
I´m not sure if Leo and Calypso worked for me, but honestly, I expected as such. The new settings are fun, I loved seeing Thalia again, and the freaking karpoi. I think I´m grasping more and more what this saga is about, and how Rick is approaching these themes of regret and guilt. Apollo is an incredible character, he´s already one of my favorites. He´s such a loser, and I say that with love.

I love everything that Rick Riordan writes and publishes and 'The Dark Prophecy' is no exception. This one is darker than 'The Hidden Oracle' and i missed Nico, Will and everyone else from Camp Half-Blood but we met some other very loved characters so i'm good. Can't wait for the third one, this one ended with a bang!

I honestly don't know how Rick Riordan's books keep getting funnier but they do somehow. Being in Apollo's head, while annoying at times, is hilarious.
I enjoyed this book but didn't *love* it. I think Apollo just doesn't appeal to me as much as Percy or any of the other Demigods, but it's really interesting and entertaining to have a new perspective. I'm excited to see where it goes next!
