The first half of this book is a collection of essays that I read with a pen because I was constantly highlighting. The second half is poetry, which if I’m honest, I didn’t read—I really struggle to enjoy poetry, and I couldn’t put myself through 100+ pages of it. Maybe someday when I’m smarter with more patience, I will come back to it.
