I’m definitely intrigued by the characters and story so far.
The end of this volume had a bonus chapter for the Water Dragon’s Bride, like an extra epilogue, and it was super cute! Apparently this story is in the same world, so I wonder if anything from that series will be included.

The intrigue of finding a killer amidst court politics and social castes gives this (what I assume will be) romance manga a dark undercurrent that makes me want to devour all the volumes. The art is nice with some spreads having lovely detail

Betrayal & retribution, deceit & longing…

I adore fantasy manga & this one looks to be continuing.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this one! I kept seeing it on Goodreads but always thought I wouldn't like it. I was easily sucked into the story and am curious to see more about the inner workings of this palace.

The plot is straight forward and could be a bit bland. Ill see how the next vol is to see if it’s worth it to keep going.

This is an interesting story so far. This is the story of Rangetsu, an ajin, who becomes the prince's beast-servant by disguising herself as a boy. She is there to uncover who killed her brother and will stop at nothing to find out who did it. She doesn't know who to trust yet and she is slowly understanding her duties as a beast-servant. I can't wait to read the next volume to see where the story heads.

~I received a copy from netgalley~
This was a super cool manga! I had read the Dawn of Arcana books a good while ago so it's a bit hard to connect those books to this to me as I can't remember too much, but I feel like if I had re-read the books I would have appreciated this one a lot more in how it relates to the other series. I think it is a pretty cool start to the series and I'm sure the other books in the series will be super cool as well!
