I really enjoyed this book! Busy isn't afraid to spill the tea- hers or anyone else's. She also has genuine writing skills which is refreshing for a celebrity memoir.

I thought this would be a light read and I was wrong but I loved it. She goes deep and it gets dark but man I admire the hell out of her. A LOT of celeb memoirs are poorly written but this is well written and excellent. I hope we get to read more.
I really liked hearing stories from Busy’s perspective and upbringing. It’s always interesting hearing pop culture bookmarks from an inside look re: death of heath ledger. Busy felt relatable in her thought process too. I listened to the audiobook and felt like she was talking to me at an outside cafe as we drink white wine and eat paninis and bitch about people that annoy us.
Don't be fooled by the title - there is a LOT of hurt in this book. I started following Phillips on Instagram and appreciate her honesty about her issues, interest in doing better and being better, and her sense of humor and self-awareness. This book is a wonderful more in-depth view of what makes Phillips herself and her journey to getting here. I was amazed at how much pain and suffering, money problems and marital problems that existed on her path through stardom (they really are just like us). The trials that Phillips went through make this not an easy read but the book was well put together with poignant stories and a front row seat at the disgusting sexism that pervades our society. I listened to the audio version - ready by Phillips herself which definitely added to the book.
Pure honesty! Busy shares such incredible stories with no reservations. She explains her perspective at the time and how her perspective have changed since then. Very insightful, interesting and HUMAN! A great read!
I wish good reads had the option for 1/2 stars! I want to give this 3.5/5. I love Busy and have been following her for years. This book is written in the exact way she writes her Instagram captions. It's rambling, funny, and honest...but works better on social media. With that being said, this book feels like a friend telling you her life story, and I still love Busy.
