Is she dramatic? Yes. Is her voice a little annoying sometimes? Also yes. It was still a funny, honest book that spilled a lot of tea.

Meh. Just searching for the high of reading Jessica Simpson’s memoir

This book is so incredibly honest!!! Busy found a way to tell her truth and not gossip which I think is too easy in Hollywood. I feel like she has sooooo many more stories to tell and I can’t wait to read them!!!

This was a quick reading read. By that, I mean i read it quickly almost as if Busy was actually speaking it's words. I love memoirs of people who interest me and this was no different.

It seems like she was her true self and told real life stories. She wasn't afraid to name names and be herself.

Really enjoyable and Phillips is an excellent narrator

Busy Philipps is A LOT. But I appreciate her ability to tell engaging stories and to be vulnerable in a refreshing (and sometimes unexpected) way.

She *performs* the book well. And with her solid insta-fame it was clear she had settled on a voice for her established audience (I include myself in that, though I am very wary of all carefully curated self-promoting content as a rule).

What a delightful read! It felt like I was getting to hang out with Busy Philips and have her tell me all the stories from her life over nachos and margaritas. I absolutely adored every word of this book. Well done, Busy!

Could maybe go up to 3.5? I did enjoy it and it's an easy, quick read for sure. Sometimes it was a bit rambling or repetitive but it does read very conversationally which I liked.

3.5!!!

I consumed this book like a delicious bag of Doritos Sweet Chili-Flavored Chips. It’s really hard for me to be objective reviewing this book because I follow Busy on Instagram and already decided long ago that I like her. Reading about her childhood, teen years, struggles as an actress, and her married life is basically just fascinating to me. The writing is definitely not perfect, but I loved reading this.
