Great introduction to these female leaders. Not very detailed, but just enough to pique interest. Great addition to an elementary classroom library!

The stories are inspiring and the illustrations are beautiful and sweet, but I wished there had been just a little more. A bibliography for further reading, or quote citations would have been great to add more information to the inspiration.
I loved the fact that I learned about an American premier ballerina who was Native American. Her name was Maria Tallchief, and they wanted her to change her name to something that sounded Russian, but she persists and refused.

A great read for anyone! Being a children's book it just gives a very brief overview of each woman, the audiobook is only 10 minutes long. But there's a range of ethnicities and professions covered which is great, and the overall message is really positive.
Very well done and one we will get for our shelf.
I want to hug all the amazing women depicted in this book. More books like this, please!
