This novella is formulated really well. I enjoyed that it was broken up into segments throughout Tobias's life and how he went from Abnegation to Dauntless, from a "Stiff" to someone that other initiates looked up to and emulated - Tris included.
When I reached the end, I felt a wave of disappointment. I realize that the "after Tris" story is summarized at the end of Allegiant, but I had hoped for a little more expounding on that timeline.

Also brownie points for the forth book of the series being named “Four” because that is accurate to both the book order and the name he goes by.
