I really enjoyed the first half of this book. But the second half seemed to drag on forever only for the bad guy to end, as they do in most romance books, quickly and without fanfare.

The Second Book in the Cat and Mouse Series had me on the edge of my seat the whole time... I would say this book has far less spice and everyone needs to read the trigger warning because it covers a lot of tough topics. The book is brilliantly written and well worth the suspense and the ending is brilliantly written.
