This book is a series of beuatiful illustrations (both in pictures and words) of complicated emotions. A great way to introduce children to the language of emtion when they understand the actions those feelings stir more easily than a description.

Šī ir vienkārši brīnišķīga grāmata. Ir gana daudz lielu cilvēku, kas ne tikai nesaprot, bet neatpazīst savas emocijas, kur nu vēl zina, ko ar tām iesākt. Un ko tās dara, vai kādas tās ir. Un šeit viss ir tik skaidri un gaiši uzrakstīts un uzzīmēts. Protams, katram sava nostaļģija - vienam tā ošņā šalli, citam - pārcilā pie jūras salasītus akmentiņus. Viena kompleksi būvē būrus, cita - trin asmentiņus. Bet arī mana aizrautība skrien pie draugiem ar tikko atklātu grāmatu. Šajā gadījumā, protams, ar šo. Lasiet vieni, lasiet kopā ar citiem, bet esiet draugos ar savām emocijām!

An adorably warm & fuzzy picture book about feelings for young readers. The illustrations are fantastic, richly expressive in a soft and muted palette, and the text is simple and smart (what signifies calmness? Petting a dog, of course. How about happiness? Zipping around in a bubble!), letting the illustrations shine. Absolutely loved it, a perfect read-along book for young children. Just picture me as the Excitement illustration, racing to my friends with this newly discovered book!

Kniha s trochou textu, jen několika větami, ale s velikou hloubkou a potenciálem živit dětsko-rodičovské rozhovory plné představivosti a empatie. Doopravdy jsem knihou uhranutá a dojatá, jak přesností každé navrhnuté činnosti, tak jemnými a měkkými ilustracemi. A taky tím, kolik času se nad ní dá strávit! "Úzkost sedí v rezavé plechovce v tmavém koutě pod skříní." Proč zrovna v plechovce, a proč je rezavá? Proč je ve tmě, pod skříní? Kde jinde by mohla být? Co jiného by mohla dělat? A proč má trpělivost krásnou zahradu? A... proč je láska elektrikářem...?
