"If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" written by Laura Numeroff and Illustrated by Felicia Bond (1985), is a humorous story. It follows a boy who gave a mouse a cookie. It shows that some actions have consequences that lead to more and more. It would be a great book for a 1st or 2nd grade classroom. It could be used to teach a lesson on consequences or if, thens. It is an overall great book.

Kind of lame writing though the idea is good - perhaps it needed to be tightened up some. I'm glad I didn't have to read this one over and over again. I did appreciate that the mouse did stuff as well as asked for stuff. The picture of the mouse about to draw a picture with giant crayons was my favorite.
