This atypical memoir is inspired by myriad discussions about the deep thoughts in our mind we are told to never speak out loud. This reads as a direct conversation to truly get to know how someone’s psyche works. The first person is perfect for any autobiography, but some parts of the narrative I wish Slate played with the “I” pronoun over the repetition. A fun quirky read for someone looking for an interesting memoir with an irregular narrative. Found this in a coffee shop/bookstore!
