these stories aren't just short, they're tiny. guess it'd be an easy read for fellow ADHDers due to the constant hopping from one topic to another each 2-7 min. but as a person with a monotropic brain from the other side of the spectrum, reading it was a bit torturous

"I can’t become smaller to fit into a crouching love in somebody else’s meager world. I don’t do that anymore. I have calmed down. I have consolidated. I have come through the reckoning that I required.”

I thoroughly enjoyed Jenny Slate’s Little Weirds.

Through a curious and strange perspective, Slate spoke on topics that were worldly like history and patriarchy as well as the mundane and obvious, while sometimes merging the two together. It felt familiar and profound.

Jenny Slate has a fantastic speaking voice and I loved listening to it. I definitely recommend  this as an audiobook.
