Downsides: It's very long for what it is and could probably have been a third shorter. Sometimes we jump from smut scene to smut scene without it progressing any character or plot (which is not necessarily a bad thing but in a book this long might get tedious for some). I also had to ignore the ethics involved with our FMC being a doctor getting involved with patients because that irks me... but it does get resolved in a way that felt OK.

Upsides: Are those dealbreakers when the characters are so stinking cute and watching them work out their dynamic with found family vibes and personal revelations? NO.

Ultimately it was a great rainy day read and the ending had me on the verge of happy tears - I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

The steam was good. But 645 pages! I feel this would have been better as a duet or maybe just slim it down. I liked the guys. I felt they all had their own personality. Rachel was just sort of there for a lot of it. She was their glue maybe but just seemed pretty boring for a hot shot doctor with a famous dad. The hockey parts were actually pretty good.

This book was an introduction to polyamory. As is typical to the genre it was very idealized.
