Such a long book for such a thin plot. Very enjoyable to read, especially if you like spice and kink, as this is a reverse harem with a LOT of cum. Female protagonist is literally superhuman, but again, this was such an entertaining read. Somehow both raunchy and emotionally tender all at once. Not for the timid.

A solid 3.5 from me! I’d definitely say it’s more spice and character driven than plot driven, but there is a plot happening almost in the background.

Rachel gets her dream job as physio for a newly established ice hockey team. Growing up, she’s always been the wild child and has never committed to anyone. On her first day, her one night stand from a few months ago appears right in front of her; Jake, one of the players.

They try to ignore their chemistry (and fail miserably). Meanwhile, Rachel can no longer deny her attraction to equipment manager Caleb. Or later, to goal keeper Mars. I loved that Caleb and Jake are also in love, and it’s not just M/F action.

What follows is a really positive take on polyamory. I think the author writes this really well, and I loved the HEA. I definitely want to read the next book in the series!

oh my. SO HOT. one of the spiciest books i’ve read in a minute. loved the characters and the dynamics within the relationship. gasped and laughed at several moments. very pleased with the ending.

did not enjoy the drama from the fmc, but i understood where she was coming from.

Yummy. I didn’t know this type of book was for me and now it’s all I want to read. The characters are a perfect balance for each other. They are all fully fledged and different aspects of men you want in a relationship. I have a soft spot for Caleb 🖤
However as a doctor I really don’t understand the desire to EVER get with a patient. It has the ick factor. Hence the 4.5/5.

I found a book finally where it was just too much smut. The woman has a harem of three guys involved with this hockey team and let me tell you… that’s the whole plot 😂. I mean I have read books with very little plot and very high smut but this was… maxed out. Every hole was filled. Half of it seemed painful and confusing. I almost drew a map. Anyways, not for me, I’ll stick to mostly smut but also some plot … at least SOME plot has to exist for me.

I would say this book is like 80% sex and 20% hockey. Some chapters its just sex after sex after sex, and as someone who loves a bit of smut, it was a little too much at times. It felt like they had sex sometimes just to have sex and it didn't really add much to the plot.

Poor Caleb, man. He kept getting the short end of the stick.

Rachel cries too easily. The zodiac stuff was annoying.

I think Jake was left out of some sex scenes for no reason...like Mars and Caleb definitely got more action than him—but Jake arguably had more of a connection to Rachel.

Anyway, it was a fun and cute read. The first 20 or so chapters made me want to pull my hair out with how emotional Rachel was...and how she kept calling Caleb "daddy"...and the stuttering. But it got better.

Caleb is revealed to be queer at the beginning of the book, but it doesn't come into play until around 50% of the way in. Definitely thought the author made him gay just to have a gay character and be "inclusive", but I'm glad it actually went somewhere and was useful to the plot.

VERY sex positive.
