I loved this book, I loved their dynamics - but the grammatical errors drove me NUTS! Took off a star because of it.

I'm too monogamous. the spice was fine- but why mingle so many feelings, it sounds exhausting which is not what I look for when reading lol

spice 🌶  - a 5 🌶  spicy - i mean...  its a lot. a lot a lot.
length - too long. toooo long.
reading speed - first 500 pages- 4 days, last 200? 3 weeks. I invested too much time to dnf.
did it make me cry? - nope. unless wishing it was finished counts as a cry for this book.

Probably my own fault for not thoroughly reading the warnings… I did however read the Finnish dictionary pages and this was a major spoiler for how the book was going to play out - I suggest these go at the end of the book instead.

For me, this book had the premise to be a great hockey romance which could stand out from the rest by covering a less commonly written about lifestyle. However for me, the smut was just too much & it was at the detriment of the storyline. I also felt like the Jake I was reading about was a totally different character to the one I met in the prequel.

I found it incredibly frustrating we only heard about Rachel’s good deeds right at the very end of the book!! This would have given her so much more depth.. to be honest I found her to be a bit one dimensional.

So much promise but this was too much smut & too little storyline for me! If you are to read it, please carefully read all the warnings!!

What more can I want from a great  🥅 romance plot, with just the right amount of smut with a why choose trope.

The only thing that I can really find a negative about this isn’t the page length, because I love thick books.

It’s the year non-drama they’re coming out. I wanted more of the year after mass of the coming out. I also wanted to see the five days of radio silence bit from the boys.

Other than that this is definitely a must read, and I will be getting a physical copy.

Majority of this book was sex. Little to no plot and at times it made me feel bad for the guys in the book. Rachel annoyed me, Mars felt entirely useless in the beginning, and the other two were there.
