Non mi aspettavo una storia così inquietante. Come ha già detto qualcuno in un'altra recensione, è un racconto che evidenzia come le persone possono essere più spaventose dei mostri stessi. Mi ha coinvolta completamente, quindi posso dire che è ben scritta. Tuttavia, al momento non ho molta voglia di leggere subito un altro libro di Ammaniti. Ho bisogno di riprendermi di questa lettura prima. Ho trovato il finale molto ambiguo e, di conseguenza, insoddisfacente.
