I really enjoy the world building and characters in this series.

I think the pacing for this book was great up until the ending. The ending felt anti-climatic and unfinished. Instead it is all rushed and kind of resolved but not in a satisfying way for myself and what I was looking forward to. It is unfortunate that that is the ending we got as the rest of the book didn't feel that way, and the ending is what sticks with most readers.

This will not stop me from reading Kerri Maniscalo's future books, and I look forward to her new works.

Oh my god finally. We went from YA to NA. I started the book very angry because I’ve gone 2 books with no steam. Then there was not immediate steam. However, this author somehow made me fall in love with all these evil demons, and her shitty sister, and everything. Love is a risk yall. The high rating though honestly is because there is a very very high amount of smut which I greatly appreciated.

"Kingdom of the Feared" is the third and final book in the Kingdom of the Wicked series. In this thrilling conclusion, Emilia is still trying to process the earth-shattering news that her twin sister, Vittoria is still alive. While trying to understand who Vittoria really is, Emilia also desires to become closer to her king: Prince of Wrath. When there is a mysterious murder in the House of Greed, Emilia and Wrath work together with the other houses and play a dangerous game of deception to uncover what is really going on.
Since the very first book, I have been rooting for Emilia and Wrath, and I have been longing to see them together. This book definitely is worth the wait, but in true YA fantasy fashion, they cannot be together fully yet. They do get some very spicy scenes together, and I did ultimately really enjoy seeing their story play out.
Vittoria's character took a wild turn, and I was not expecting her villainous character arch. It did make me sad to see how her character progressed and the subsequent chaos she caused. I do think she was a good balance in connection to Emilia: although twins, they both have very different core beliefs and guiding lights.
Overall, I was pleased with this story, and I am excited to see what Kerri Maniscalco writes in the future.

🪷 3.5/5 for quality, 4/5 for enjoyment, 4.5/5 for how wonderful these audiobooks continue to be.

💀 I think that the "memory loss" trope is a hard one to get right because, by nature, there has to be a lot of telling rather than showing for the MC and the reader to get caught up in the story. Especially in a mystery, which is what this book is at its core, I hate when the reader is just told the answers. That's my biggest gripe with this book without getting spoilery.

👑 That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride that this series has been. I liked seeing how all the pieces laid out in Book 1 fit in by the end of this book. I liked the relationship between Emilia and her love interest. I liked the interplay between the Princes of Hell, which we got to see more of in this book. I didn't always love the pacing or the storytelling style, but I did enjoy the writing style (I hope that differentiation makes sense?).

🖤 Overall this was a super fun series that I would have binged in a few days if I didn't have to wait for my Libby holds to come in. Cute banter. Steamy tension. Enough mystery and side plots left that there is room for the series to continue even though I feel like this wrapped up Emilia's arc pretty well.
