Magát a könyvet egyébként úgy vettem meg, hogy nyaraltunk és kiolvastam, ami nálam volt. A könyv hátulján lévő fülszöveg alapján vettem meg, de még így is homályos volt, hogy mi is lesz itt a történet. Nagyon lassan indult be, de jól alakult a vége, és izgalmas lett. Nagyon örültem, hogy Valek lett a hős szerelmes, aki nagyon karakán és karót nyelt személyiség. A mágia körüli nagy titkolózás volt fura csak egy fantasy könyvben, e a történet előrehaladtával világossá vált, hogy miért.
I’m struggling to see how there is going to be 8 more books in this series but I hope they are just as exciting and we learn more about the MCs blossoming power.

Technically a re-read since I’m 95% sure I read this book ~10-15 years ago. Absolutely devoured it this time, really enjoyed the premise and the character building.

I felt that the book started out rather slowly. The reader understood a lot more than the characters did, but it just moved so slowly as they figured things out.
By the second half, things had picked up and the characters more interesting.
I did not see the romance coming, and felt there were quite a few random plot lines, but I overall enjoyed the book.
