Ok, so basically this is the same thing as the other books, just that with different backgrounds for each character. that being said, this book is not bad.
it is entertaining and erotic (which is basically the goal for these books), Cole was cute while Savannah reminded me a lot of a blonde-southern Elizabeth (but less bitchy, in the good way)
The ending felt warm to me; while reading I wanted this book to be different than the others (in the past three installments the couple always gets engaged), and thankfully it was, but it too rush and it fell flat to me. Overall it's an enjoyable quick read, looking forward to the next book

Cole Riley is the poster child for bad boy, no matter the exceptional amount of talent he has as a NFL player it hasn't stopped him from being traded to his home team the Traders. His agent and now wife to his cousin, will do everything in her power to keep Cole from being traded again including hiring a makeover/PR consultant who has a knack for working miracles.

Cole can't seem to take his eyes off of the feminine beauty at a party he is at with his team, when he meets Savannah and her southern sass he is more than intrigued. Not realizing she has been hired to help him clean up his act, he is both hostile and aroused by the blunt woman. Cole is willing, as much as it pains him, to listen to what she has to say, but he also knows she is fighting her attraction to him and he wants to uncover every secret she has along the way.

I am torn on this one, there were aspects I loved like the opening chapter thought it was perfect for drawing the reader in. I thought the chemistry was electric and loved the witty taunts between Cole an Savannah. What I did struggle with was Cole's attitude with everyone is out to get him, but it is not fully explained why, there is a reason an it is mentioned but more in passing than actually a realization moment. Savannah, although I liked her a lot, I did think at times she droned almost to the edge of being preachy but at the same point it worked for what she needed to do with the story. Overall another fantastic book from Jaci Burton, I just wondered if there was some pieces left on the editing floor.

I have no idea why I missed this book out ...

Cole has a bad reputation and Savannah has been hired to change that.

I have no major beefs with this book, but I would say the plot was weak - honestly nothing much happened, and there was too much sex presumably to cover up the lack of plot

The rougher edges are noticeably softer, the love "conflict" is more emotionally driven, and there are no significant exterior obstacles to contend with. Of course, there's Burton's required smoking hot male lead, sassy intellectual female, a strong plot, and some heavy, heavy smexying throughout. I like how this storey presents itself to you. It begins with a VERY HOT pleasuring sequence and only gets better from there.
Burton does a good job of creating Savannah and Cole's connection while also revealing them as people. Beginning as a business connection, Burton maintains a healthy balance between the romance and the primary plot, despite the great physical chemistry. Savannah elicits Cole's personality, allowing us and her to get to know the real Cole. She quickly finds that he is far more complicated than she gave him credit for, and that he is nothing like the media portrays him to be. Cole prefers to keep his personal and professional lives separate, but his outgoing attitude works against him.
Despite the fact that this is portrayed from Savannah's point of view, I felt as if I came to know Cole's character much better than Savannah's. Savannah is a beautiful and educated woman. She is also quite private, and the book reflects that. She, like Cole, prefers to keep her personal and professional lives separate, and I thought it fascinating how she pushed Cole to expose everything about his personal life to her while struggling to do the same. She says and does all the right things, but you can tell she's hiding something.
This book's sexual heat and humour made it a fun, abet, HOT read. Ms. Burton has a knack of creating passionate passages that are both sensual and honest, and neither of her characters is afraid to express their desires.
I enjoy seeing old Rileys as well as meeting new Rileys. Their noisy, nosy personalities are balanced by their love for one another, albeit Liz continues to irritate me on a minor level for reasons I don't understand. They know no bounds and will be up in your business in an instant, offering advise, encouragement, and the traditional slap upside the head when necessary. Savannah adores the Rileys, and you can tell that this is the family she desires and requires in her life.

By far my least favorite of the series. Cole was annoying and Savannah was obnoxious. I found no chemistry between them at all. And the first part of the book was written like a how to manual for surviving the NFL and being famous. There was no romance in this romance for me. Definitely not a fan. I only gave it two stars because the other couples from the first 3 books were in it. If it weren't for Liz this would have been 1 star.

This was another book from the series that I really enjoyed. I thought Cole and Savannah made a great couple and their hotness was off the charts. I expected Cole to be a little more of a bad boy, but he was still super sexy. Can't wait until the next one comes out!

The contemporary romantic set up of the "professional" heroine who is forced to spend every waking moment of her life fixing the bad boy is wearing thin. Maybe my reaction to this was that it came at the end of a contemporary sports bender where this was the only set up.
Savannah is an image robot, whoops I mean consultant. Her critical analysis of Cole after they go on dates is so flat and awkward. I never really warmed up to either character.
I guess the only way to have a bad boy reform and understand the meaning of love is if you are paid to spend every waking moment with him holding his hand and showing him the error of his ways. This type of set up and therefore the sex seems sort of skeevy. Why can't the heroine be a teacher or a journalist, or even (gasp) another athlete? Someone who isn't paid to be at his service - the image consultant, PR exec, or assistant.
This was also awkward to read out of order. Too many other characters and their relationships were hard to keep straight. Medium levels of sex.

It's another nice addition to the overall series and I am enjoying that in this as well as the last book. Burton doesn't only writes porn and over extreme sex scenes but finally focuses a bit more on the actual characters and plot!

So that is much better than it was in the first two books of this series.

I also enjoyed the two characters of this well enough.

It's finally back to football -YES! That's why I am reading this, I don't need any other sport!

Overall this is a nice book, personally I think that it's very generic and not at all something that I will either remember nor say specifics about in a month, escpailly not if I continue reading this series since all books -plot and characters, how the story is build and how it ends- are way to similar to each other for tat.

So I kind of wish tat burton would take a bit of a different route with the actual plot of this book in some way and that's she would always make it this extreme happy ever after ending.

That's just my personal option though and overall it's a nice and easy to read, fun little romance that has some sports aspects. So if that is what you are looking for? Perfect! Look no further!

If you are looking for something a little special, a little different, something that isn't a generic sports romance? I would guess that this will be not the right pick for you!
