challenging emotional funny informative inspiring reflective sad slow-paced

So well written. I wasn't prepared to get repeats of how disappointed and scared and angry Rinkl is about a variety of topics. She's right of course, 100% correct, but I was hoping for something more relaxing and less stressful. I get why she complains about the climate crisis and how people treat the earth but I wasn't really in a headspace to receive it.

Loved the meditations, the vibes of observation and curiosity and anecdotes. But it is, ultimately, really sad. There's a hopelessness to the rates of decline in the natural world, and it's a heavy thing to feel.
