I got intrigued but it took awhile and then the end was just a letdown.

This had so much potential. But it was really just okay. The ‘interesting’ part started at maybe 80% of the book and the ending felt kinda rushed. There are so many unanswered questions and it felt like the author ran out of pages and decided she had to wrap the book up real quick.

I really enjoyed this book up until the last chapter. I like that you get to know each character and their backstory throughout but the last chapter felt rushed to wrap up and leaves you wondering what happened to the other 3 characters…
What a TWIST! I absolutely didn't see that one coming, but I'm also not mad about that.

If You Tell a Lie kept me on my toes from start to finish. Even though I had a hunch about what was going on, the ending still managed to catch me off guard—in the best way possible. Lucinda Berry masterfully layers suspense and psychological tension, keeping the reader second-guessing every character and motive. If you’re into fast-paced thrillers with shocking twists, this one is worth picking up.
whoever approved N I N E character povs deserves jail time.

COME ON!!!!! why didn’t we narrate 3rd person? that would have made so much more sense for this type of story.
i do have a lot of questions but the twist at the end was genius so it’s okay
