Started this thinking it was a novella after seeing a TikTok on it while it is more of a short story! A damn good short story at that!! Would love to see this expanded into a true novella or novel. The vibes were creepy, and I loved how unreliable both the narrator and characters were. I forget how much I like Gillian Flynn's writing-- I need to finally read her other work beyond Gone Girl!

read it all in one sitting it was about 60 pages. it was such a good short story that had me wondering what was going to happen but none of the annoying fluff that comes with longer stories. this was great!!
