Book 21 / 30 days challenge.

I've tried to read others book by the author but I'm always kinda put off with the writing and end up thinking "maybe Ill try again later".
I thought this was gonna be longer, I didn't know this was so so short, it was fine, the writing is kinda dry, but the topic was interesting. The ending was a huge deception tho.

Eyyy I totally caught the turn of the screw reference and feel like pretty pleased with myself. Really good, the first twist was awesome, didn't quite buy the next one though, or it would have been five

Loved this. Listened to it as an audio (long) short story or (short) novella in an evening. Flynn does the best unlikable characters. It's a little chilling and a little comic.

This book is like a 30 minute spooky episode of your favorite TV show. I say favorite TV show because it is fun and there may be some twists but you also find it predictable and short. I liked the main character who can read people's personalities well because she doesn't come off as obnoxious and better than everyone around her. She acts reasonable in the different scenarios that Gillian Flynn lays out for you so you're not sitting in disbelief and there are a few crazy plot points.

Point is, this story was fun and a tad freaky. Buy the Kindle version and enjoy your 30 minute Gillian Flynn Halloween episode.

Loved the setting and characters, a fun, quick read!

I loved this short story from Gillian Flynn. It is so cleverly written that you absolutely believe each twist in the story and are kept guessing about the truth the whole way - is it a classic ghost story or a tale of revenge? I would like to see more of this from Gillian Flynn.

i'm obsessed with the way this woman can make me sweat in just 68 pages

Weird. So many plot twists that by the end, you really don't care anymore.
