I mean, short story doesn't equal to a story with no enging, right? This was cut off. Instead of the 10 pages monologues about the non-existent mom and the beggar stories, there could be an... ending. The brain power was put to the wrong part.

Fantastic story with elements of horror and thriller thrown in with some incredibly well done character studies.
It's short, but memorable. I definitely recommend giving it a chance.

I love Flynn's screwed up bad girls. Throw one into a Gothic Victorian setting and I'm pretty much reading the book of my dreams. I did really enjoy this overall but the ending was a little off for me.

Fun, weird little short story.

Honestly kinda scary. Don’t know who actually to believe but I wish I got a bit more clarity at the end?

This is the first book I've listened to on audio book because that's the only format they had in the library. I enjoyed the first part of they book it hooks you and keeps you wanting to figure out what's going to happen. I'm not so sure I liked the way the story wrapped up. It was nice to get something else from Gillian but this wasn't enough for me it was just ok.
