A short spooky story - kinda wish it was longer! You’re just left on a cliffhanger

Wish it had a different ending, but it was fun to read.

A fun short story. I really liked it. A bit creepy and it leaves you wondering...

A short story that can be read in about a half hour. Typical Gillian Flynn - creepy with a twist ending that has you wondering what the hell just happened.

Great, twisty, thrilling short story. I liked the open ending; it keeps you guessing and really works in the short story genre! It was originally in a short story collection and is now published separately for Gillian Flynn fans.

Gillian Flynn’s books are always twisty and her main female characters are manipulative. This one was no different. It’s a short story and kept me entertained.

THIS WAS GOOD! WOAH! GILLIAN FLYNN KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING!

I have so far read everything that she has published! I was a bit nervous to pick this up because it is just 60 pages. But man she did a great job.

This story I was VERY into. I was so dedicated to the plot and what was going on. The fact that she could do that in 60 pages was amazing. This story was creepy and had some nice twists and turns.

The ending killed me because... just damn that ending. I NEED MORE. Good story&Good Writing.
Will for sure pick up anything she publishes in the future!
funny mysterious tense

Pulled this one off the shelf to squeeze in one more book before the end of the year. I don't even know where I got this, but I'm glad I did. Flynn is an excellent writer and storyteller. She builds her characters as the story progresses, with characterization building the narrative and vice versa. She doesn't waste words giving you more than you need, but also creates fully formed characters with dimension and complexity. And the ending! Didn't see that coming. Now I have to read Gone Girl. I want more Gillian Flynn.

Interesting fast read. Would make a great start to a longer book!
