To be fair, I don't usually read Omegaverse stuff, so that was on me. But I like the fake relationship trope and all my apps were pushing this one at me as a suggestion, so I gave it a try. It was ok, but honestly, I just didn't love it.

I don't know if I can say with full confidence that Mackenzie and Noah had any chemistry. It felt as if it was just physical so the lovey dovey romance wasn't really there.

There were a lot of cringey moments which I admit I love sometimes but I didn't particularly care for them this time. I think it was harder to look past it when the characters weren't as lovable.

I don't really have any strong feelings about this book either way. It wasn't bad, but I didn't love it either. It was a quick and easy read, which I'd recommend if you're in the mood for something light and decently spicy to pass the time.

The characters aren't too deep, but there are arcs for Mackenzie and Noah that has them both grow. Diversity is meh. I don't remember any characters specifically described diversely, but there is a Gay Best Friend who ends up being vital to the plot.
