I'm giving it five stars because (apart from the gratuitous swearing) this was made for me. I love the themes, I love the characters, I love the art and the mystery.
I also like that the gods don't get any introduction, you're just supposed to know who they are, like the characters do. It brings you right into the action and doesn't waste any time. - Now, I don't know half of these gods, so I did a quick Wikipedia search for the main cast, and that's really all you need to know to follow along.
The swearing's a bit "I'm 18 and this is my first Rated-M comic". It comes across a lil edgelordy

This is amazing! I just love how creative of a concept this is and u am so happy that it was executed so well!
No spoilers. The young people being chosen as Gods every 90 years and the latest incarnation being modern day Pop Stars. The story is shown from the POV of a devoted fan who gets thrown into the mix via a murder. The premise is interesting and the art is just awesome but I'm still trying to feel it out. The art is what did it for me. Some parts were a little confusing to follow but I'll check out the 2nd volume. If it doesn't get better after that, I'm just going to snap my fingers on this series.

If you don't normally re-read books, you don't realize how much you miss when you've gone through once again. Still my favorite series, going through again so I can finish it all!
Absolutely gorgeous! And I really liked the story. A lot of people have been saying they find it confusing, but I didn't find that.
