This was pretty disappointing. I felt like there was not enough build up and development to the relationship. The story contradicts itself which made the main conflict feel pointless.

SpoilerBasically, Alcy thinks since he's an angel that he's not supposed to want sex and that he can't love a demon. But, there was so much emphasis on the Supreme (i.e god) being all about love. One moment Alcy would be explaining to Carter that the Supreme holds love above everything, and the next moment Alcy was fearing that he would be 'unmade' because he loves Carter and Beez.

The end twist was wild, I'll give it that. I didn't see it coming and it had me shook a little.

Quick, easy read.
I had fun. MCs were likeable.
I was exactly what I wanted to read.

cute idea but it got progressively worse.

i could’ve done it without the lessons on christianity, i live in italy so i already heard about it too much during my life.
the characters were way too simple and their interactions were nonexistent at first and way too in love suddenly. i wondered a few times how did we get there and that’s not fun. also there were a bunch of little time jumps (like 3 weeks later) but we skipped the most important parts of the relationship, but i mean, who cares, it’s not like they’re important to the story, right????
the second last chapter made me roll my eyes so far back in my head that i got an headache.
i don’t want to talk about the actual ending because i’m trying to forget it. i’ll just say one word. disturbing.

I read the first chapter and that was it. I don't mind books that have a message, but good grief,  don't throw it all in the first chapter. Far too preachy and turned me right off. It's a pity because I was intrigued by the premise.

“People lead lives that are nothing like yours, and believe in things you might not. That doesn’t make the bad or wrong, just not something for you. Live and let live, man.”

Well, that was something. From time to time, I like to read "Harlequin" books.  Say what you want but they are quick, lighthearted, entertaining reads. And this was no exception. At the surface, this is the story of a 19-year-old that not so accidentally summons an angel and a demon and they all fall in love, however, it is also a story about tolerance and (self) acceptance. Is it the best story with these themes? No, but it's entertaining, it has good pacing and lovable characters.
So if you looking for a "Harlequin" type of book, with an M/M/M relationship, this book may be something to consider.
