Six chapters in and I’m enjoying the back and forth rhythm of the story. I suppose I should’ve started at the first Harry Hole book but this is the one I picked up. Hope it continues to be a page turner.
Finished reading. I think I would adjust it down to 3.5. Started getting a bit boring about halfway through. Was just average for me.

The outcome of this Harry Hole book was more obvious than the others in the series but Nesbo has such a talent for writing that I was still on the edge of my seat for the last few chapters...and now The Leopard makes more sense to me!
Propulsive, extremely well-written, satisfying, and dark

Actually a great book for fans of crime fiction I'm sure, but it didn't do it for me.

Didn’t get far in this. Not my cup of tea. Going to be too sadistic and misogynistic, thank you very much.
slow-paced
A great, dark Norwegian murder mystery. It was complex, entertaining, and kept me guessing. The characters are definitely flawed, but in believable ways that make them more real.
